Our SH-C053 material is a so-called artificial sand, which mainly consists of a ceramic material called Cerabead. It impresses especially with its incomparable haptics and look. This creates a predominantly positive association, which triggers a sense of well-being and at the same time has an attractive appeal.

According to the company ́s claim „Changing perceptions“, SANDHELDEN manages to change the general perception of sand as a loose material by shaping it into long-lasting and robust objects.

Every grain of our SH-C053 material is completely round and homogeneous in shape. As a result, all objects have a certain smoothness in its appearance and especially sharp edges can look somehow smooth compared to our SH-F01 material.

Around 2000 kg of sand can be processed for each printing process. Excess material is directly recycled in production and reused in subsequent 3D printing processes.
